What’s the Weather Today?
Every morning, I wake up at seven o’clock. The first thing I do is look out of the window. What’s the weather today? Today is sunny and hot. I am happy because I want to play outside with my friends. Yesterday it was cold and rainy and I had to stay home. My favorite weather is warm and sunny. My friend Sam likes cold weather because he loves to make snowmen in winter. We are different, but we are very good friends. We always help each other.
Game Time at Half Past Three
Every Tuesday at half past three, my friends and I play basketball at the park. We are five friends — Dan, Sara, Jacob, Mia, and me. Basketball is my favorite game. Sara is very good — she runs fast and is also very funny. Jacob always says “Good for you!” when I make a basket. We play for one hour, and then we go home. At half past four, my mother is happy to see me. She says: “Did you have fun?” and I say: “Yes, it was great!”
My Favorite Things
My name is Maya and I am nine years old. I love many things. I love to read a book in the warm sun. I love to fly a kite when it is windy. My favorite sport is basketball. I play basketball with my brother. He is funny and helps me a lot. I also love to learn English at school. My teacher is very nice. After school, I eat a snack and do my homework. At eight o’clock, I go to sleep. Tomorrow is a new day!
