A pronoun is a word that is used to replace nouns, usually so we don’t use the same word over and over again.
We use pronouns to talk about people or things. Look at the two sentences:  The pen is on the table. It is green.  In the second sentence, the word “it” refers to the pen. (it = the pen). Remember: Every sentence starts with a capital (big) letter. The word “I” is ALWAYS a capital letter, EVERYWHERE in the sentence.
Exercise: Write the pronouns:
My mother =
the family =
the car =
money =
the boys in the other room =
water =
Sally and I =
my school =
my mother and father =
my sisters =
(your name) =
